This prevented me from running the race. It was very discouraging to have come all that way and not get to complete the race. All that time and training, wasted.

The sole purpose of this site is to help you get from wherever you are, across the marathon finish line. There were both mental and physical hurdles that I had to learn how to overcome.

However, those experiences only added to my growth and made me stronger. I never ran long distances when I started training for my first marathon.

This site is a mission dedicated to helping beginners, overweight, chubby, and otherwise marginalized people train for a marathon and find joy in running.
